Scott R. Jackson, MBA

Owner/Founder
Certified Master Outdoorsman

Born and Raised in the North Woods of Norway Maine, Scott found his passion for the outdoors at an early age.  He began hunting fishing and trapping at the age of 8.  After graduating from college with a double degree in aviation, Scott fulfilled his lifelong dream and moved to Homer, Alaska.  The next 10 years were spent flying the Alaskan Bush, repairing airplanes, hunting, fishing, and trapping in the last frontier.  Slowly, the desire to return to New England began to creep in, and in 2004 Scott and his family rented out their Alaskan home and moved to New Hampshire.  Today, Scott owns several successful businesses, multiple rental properties, and is a partner in Great North Woods Guide Service, LLC.  In line with receiving an MBA from NYIT in 2007, Scott became a business development executive and Citation Jet captain for Kollsman Inc. in Merrimack, NH.  In 2010, their passion for the outdoors led Scott and his family to form a new company called the New Hampshire Outdoor Learning Center, LLC.  Now, his full time occupation, this is a business dedicated to the realm of outdoor education.  Scott’s passion for teaching students many of the Certified Master Outdoorsman Classes is second only to his love for God and his family.

Wes Reed

Upland Bird and Waterfowl Dog Trainer and Instructor

Wes developed a love of the outdoors from his father, who was a conservation officer back in the 1950’s   His love of dogs stems from his mother who raised collies when he was growing up.  After a friend introduced him to duck hunting, he saw the need for a well trained retriever.  Since that day his passion for training bird dogs has grown into a family business called Rise and Shine Retrievers. They breed Labrador and Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and have placed puppies all over the US.  They also provide training to owners who share his passion for working their dogs.  Those owners can be seen at hunt tests or in the fields & marshes all over New England.

Wes is an avid hunter of both upland birds and waterfowl and has pursued game from Quebec to Maine to Connecticut. His dogs get to hunt year round by participating in the AKC, HRC & NAHRA hunt test programs, as well as the Labrador Retriever Club working certificate and the American Chesapeake Club working dog programs.  He has passed hunt tests from Maine to Florida under experienced judges from 14 states and Canada.

He loves to share his knowledge and can be seen conducting retrieving demos at NH Fish & Game, Ducks Unlimited events or sportsman’s clubs throughout New England.

Nancy Lucia Daniels

Wildlife Photography Instructor

Nancy has been involved in photography since high school .  Many hours spent in the darkroom developing film and printing images gave her a genuine appreciation for the digital era that now consumes photography.   Over the years she has developed and eye for capturing nature in its moment.  Appreciating the spontaneous events from season to season.

Born and raised in Massachusetts , Nancy has resided in New Hampshire for over twenty years.  She is a Radiological Technologist at Dartmouth Hitchcock Clinic in Nashua NH.  She enjoys her work in the medical field but her passion has always been the outdoors and photography.  She most recently started a Photo Mentoring  class for young children who show an interest in nature and photography.   To watch young kids absorb and learn photography is extremely gratifying to her.

An avid hiker Nancy is always up for a challenge when it comes to pushing herself to the next level.  She uses this to motivate her when imaging in the outdoors whether its wildlife, plant life or human life.  Imaging nature in its most natural form is a priority and the ultimate expression.
Nancy resides in Hudson NH with her husband,  two sons and her 90 yr old mother. She looks forward to teaching and sharing her experiences in photography with you.
