Rick Swain is a retired Army combat veteran with over 20 years of experience as a Special Operations Combat Medic and Paramedic/HAZMAT Technician. He has served in high-risk environments worldwide, from Iraq and Afghanistan to Panama and Ecuador, and spent a decade mentoring and training National Guard CBRN Response units. A lifelong student of wilderness preparedness, Rick has spent over 30 years refining survival skills, distilling real-world lessons into practical training. As the founder of The SCROLL LLC, he shares his expertise in critical readiness skills. A Registered Outdoor Guide with a B.A. in Homeland Security, he has completed elite military courses, including U.S. Army Ranger School and USASOC SERE Level C, and contributed to the Tactical Ranger Medic Handbook.

Rebecca has a passion for helping people of all ages empower themselves with awareness and preparedness skills. She has taught at bush craft schools across the country, and led wilderness immersion programs for youth, teens, and adults. She is currently enrolled with the Herbal Medics Academy where she is completing their Austere Medicine Program and Community Herbalist Certification.
Rebecca specializes in helping women to carry themselves with confidence, and feel confident with the tools they carry. She is a certified Sig Sauer Pistol Instructor, USCCA Women's Handgun and Self Defense Instructor, USCCA Official Partner, NRA Home Firearms Safety Instructor, and Range Safety Officer.
