The NHOLC has added several Mushrooms classes over the years and they have quickly become some of our most popular workshops.
Mushrooms 101 (Sept 9th and 30th) – Join us for a day in the classroom, field, and kitchen with our professor of Mycology learning to identify up to 20 choice edible mushrooms. Many of these mushrooms have no poisonous or toxic look-alikes. This class is designed to give you the confidence you need to forage safely and enjoy a feast that can only be found in the wild.
Mushrooms 102 – (Oct 1st) This advanced class will concentrate on identifying between 75 and 100 edible, medicinal, and poisonous mushrooms throughout New England. Grab your camera and notebook for this class and get ready to take your foraging to whole new level!
