Certified Master Outdoorsman

Description

 Not for the faint of heart, the CERTIFIED MASTER OUTDOORSMAN program is considered the “gold standard” in outdoor education and is a total immersion system in hands-on outdoor learning.  All of our courses are taught by experienced Registered Maine Guides and Licensed New Hampshire Guides with over 100 years of combined outdoor knowledge.  Each workshop consists of classroom presentations, discussion, and curriculum followed by an afternoon of field work. The Learning Center has hundreds of acres of prime woods and waters to ensure you have the best classroom to hone your outdoor skills.  There are 24 comprehensive classes in the CMO program.  Each class comes with an “open book” written test and a certificate of completion.  When all 24 outdoor classes and tests have been completed, you will take a final written exam, a proficiency skills test, and interview with the Board of Certified Master Outdoorsman. Upon passing, you will graduate with the coveted “Master Outdoorsman” certification and patch. You will graduate with a wide range of in depth knowledge and hold an unparalleled level of qualification.
